Sr Staff Engineer - Cloud Development Tabula

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team that is building a worldwide cloud from the ground up. We need a bright individual who is motivated by the latest cloud technology, security, virtualization, high performance compute grids and hands on HW administration. This is really a once in a lifetime opportunity.



We need help in the following areas: virtualization, security, HPC grid administration, web development, networking and system administration.

Requirements:

? Strong/deep/broad scripting and programming skills (languages below)
? Strong/deep understanding of Linux (areas of expertise below)
? 3 or more of the preferred skills. For the areas below, you must have detailed understanding of how and why things work. Knowing buzzwords and/or superficial knowledge won?t cut it.



Preferred Skills:

? Web development and administration (Django, Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Apache)
? Virtualization (KVM, Xen, XCP, Cobbler, PXE/TFTP, Repos, Grub, live migration, OpenStack)
? Filer (OI, Nexenta, Solaris, ZFS, SAS, SATA, RAID, JBOD)
? Security (OS Hardening, SELinux, IDS, penetration testing techniques, FW, attack vectors)
? Linux performance tuning (CPU, Disk, Network)
? High performance compute grid administration (SGE)
? Networking (CISCO, NIC aggregation, NIC binding, IPv6, architecture, VLANs)
? Remote monitoring (IPMI, OPMA, BMC, iDRAC, BIOS, Ganglia)
? Authentication/Authorization (OpenLDAP, RADIUS, Kerberos, PAM, cryptography)
? System administration (racks, blades, LOM, power, switches, routers, redundancy)



Years Experience:

Education Requirements:

? B.S. or MS (preferred) computer science or equivalent
