About the role:
The Systems Administrator will perform day-to-day technical procedures and ongoing maintenance in support of the Corporate IT functions at Skybox Imaging. This position is expected to have a solid understanding of computer fundamentals and be conscientious in their work and decision making.
Perform documented maintenance tasks and procedures
Responsible for the development, engineering, and administration of Corporate IT Services, including servers, storage, databases, and other technologies
Utilize and maintain technologies and applications as required for business operations
Manage remote datacenter operations environments
Analyze and troubleshoot systems issues
Perform proof of concept studies around new technologies
Familiarity with specific systems such as VMware, NetApp, Active Directory, Zimbra, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, FlexLM Licensing, Cisco network devices, VPN, etc
Demonstrates excellent telephone, speaking and listening and technical reading comprehension skills.
Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities and able to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Must be self sufficient and conscientious, demonstrating the ability to manage one's own time effectively.
Demonstrates the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency to resolve problems quickly and accurately.
Is committed to excellence in service and performance.
Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident.
