Sr. Systems Administrator / SaaS Operations FaceTime Communications

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Actiance is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join its SaaS Operations. This candidate should be self-motivated, production sensitive, and technically talented to support Actiance's 24x7 Service Infrastructure environment. In this role, the candidate will provide support for cloud based applications, UNIX based systems, the Service Infrastructure, as well as other customer needs.

Job Requirements:

Support all Service Infrastructure systems and services
On-board new customers
Provide second level escalations
On-call rotation for off-hour support
Implement monitoring
Evaluate or develop new tools to better manage the Service Infrastructure
Document best practices
Train other team members as needed

Qualifications:

The candidate will need 5-10 years of experience in a UNIX production environment, preferably Redhat Linux
Good working knowledge of corporate network, colo, cloud, VMWare, Load Balancer, and Storage Systems
Solid troubleshooting skills
Excellent prioritization skills
Effective communication skills
Experience with monitoring tools such as Opmanager, Splunk, Nagios
The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, ability to take ownership, and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment
Experience with MySQL database administration / replication is a plus, but not required
A team player

Education:

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science or other related engineering fields
