We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Hosting Architecture team. The Hosting Architecture team is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure which powers the largest online communities in the world. As a result, we?re building our infrastructure from the ground up to meet and exceed the scale demands in multiple data centers across the world. The ideal candidate has a strong background system administration, in Java web application management and 24x7 Linux operations experience. This position represents an exciting opportunity to be a part of Jive's world class Hosting Architecture Team and Jive's overall growth.

Responsibilities
Install and maintain Java-based web applications and their supporting software stacks.
Maintain our and deploy our multi tenant solutions, which support the largest online communities.
Perform system and application administration, troubleshooting, and deployments
Participate in rotating on-call coverage for 24x7 operation support.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years experience managing and troubleshooting Internet-facing Java-based web applications, including servlet containers Tomcat.
Minimum 5 years experience managing and troubleshooting Internet-facing Linux environments, including common protocols/standards and servers (RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, TCP/IP, HTTP, Apache httpd).
Minimum 5 years experience managing and troubleshooting SQL database servers (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with the development process and getting code from development environments into production.
Experience working in a high-availability environment, providing 24x7 service.
Experience with various monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zenoss.
Experience with scripting languages and development of tools which help scale system administration activities.
Experience with working on configuration and deployment tools such as Puppet, mcollective, and hiera
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
