Sr. Systems Software Engineer (Embedded, Mobile) Jawbone

JAWBONE is expanding into Seattle and the time has come to build the team!

We are hiring generalist software engineers with a strong systems and networking background across client and server - people who can work with multiple technologies at multiple levels.

You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with our world-class engineering team that is designing, implementing and deploying Jawbone's software and services. ?Good enough? is simply not in Jawbone DNA as we are maniacally focused on creating products that just work. Specific skills that will catch our eyes:
? embedded (C/C++, device drivers, USB, firmware, kernel-level software, multi-processor SOCs)
? mobile (iPhone - Objective-C, Android - Java)
? networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, SIP, XMPP), wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)
? audio, telephony
? web services (Python, MySQL, MongoDB)

Qualifications:
? BSCS or MSCS preferred
? Minimum of 5 years building and shipping software in multiple contexts.
? Proven track record of shipping consumer electronics products, mobile applications, or web services.
? The desire and ability to write well-structured, maintainable code in multiple languages.
? High intellect and ability to run solve challenging software problems in new domains with many complex components.
