JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to Develop a Comprehensive Test Strategy to support Current and Future products, set Expectations on Capex Productivity and Cost and Identifies capable suppliers to implement that Strategy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Comprehensive Scan of Testing Methodologies in HB LED and Semicon space (Identify best Practices).
• Establish Methodology of rating best approaches for Productivity (capex, labor, etc.)
• Identify suppliers able and committed to supporting HB LED Testing.
• Work with Test Engineering to insure seamless integration of Test Software and Hardware.
• Insure Quality Expectations supported and enhanced.
• Develop Testing Roadmaps that demonstrate significant improvements in Cost of Test over time.
• Interfacing with suppliers, CM, engineering and quality staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of B.S. degree in EE, Physics, Optics or other related technology.
• 5+ years semiconductor/optical experience is required.
• Exposure to International Test Equipment Supplier base.
• Experience in setting Strategic Direction in Test, Optical or related fields.
• Good understanding of electrical and optical devices and experience with optical or semiconductor test equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to use electronic test equipment and knowledge of appropriate prototyping and testing techniques for power electronic systems.
• Programming experience with LabView or Microsoft Visual Basic is helpful.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and quality focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to travel world-wide as needed.
