Sr. Test Engineering Manager - Engineering/NPI Capella Intelligent Subsystems

Responsibilities:

- Manage team of engineers developing test processes for engineering through production
- Develop test methodologies and specifications for new products, collaborating with R&D
- Define dept. objectives and strategies that lead to a successful test platform i.e., yields, quality, cycle time, and costs
- Develop NPI Test transfer plans with Contract Manufacturing partner, and execute plans
- Interface with all levels of R&D and Engineering to develop competitive and state-of-art testing platform
- Identify and develop best of breed test hardware suppliers
- Generated department budgets and manage them within guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications:

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 7-10 years experience managing or leading test engineering groups, from development through production phases
- Must possess strong hands-on experience in both test hardware and software development, motion controls, and data acquisition/analysis automation
- Prefer candidate with relevant optical testing experience
- Demonstrated experience testing and troubleshooting digital, analog and mixed-signal circuit board assemblies to component level
- Strong organizational and management skills within a small to mid size company
- Must be effective managing within a fast paced technical environment and capable of meeting deadlines
- Driven personality who can motivate and develop top notch technical teams.
