Sr Validation Consultant Aperio

The Senior Validation Consultant will develop validation studies and protocols for both the Healthcare and Life Science business units. Specific duties include designing studies to validate the use of Aperio solutions in a clinical setting as well as drafting verification and validation protocols to support GLP customers. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in the validation of digital pathology solutions and will guide both Aperio and our customers in best practices for validation.

The Senior Validation Consultant will have proven skills in validation processes and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Senior Validation Consultant is someone who can:
-Design, write, review and approve clinical validation studies
-Design, write, review and approve validation protocols for GLP customers
-Research and recommend best practices for the validation of digital pathology
-Work with customers and recommend best practices
-Attend and present at industry conferences

Qualifications
-Experience and expertise in the industry standards for validation
-Familiarity with GxP best practices
-Familiarity with CLIA and CAP guidelines
-Solid organizational and prioritization skills
-A passion for providing superior customer service
-Superior verbal and written skills with a high degree of professionalism
-Ability to multi task, contribute solutions, and remain flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience leading validation efforts
Understanding of industry standards for validation
Understanding of pathology laboratory workflow
Excellent communication skills
Degree-level qualification in a Biomedical Science, Pathology, or related field a plus
Previous healthcare experience a must
Understanding of Digital Pathology a plus
Ability to travel up to 25%
