Sr Voice User Experience (VUE) Designer LiveOps
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED LiveOps is seeking a voice user experience designer with a proven background or interest in speech applications to work out of our Silicon Valley or Tempe Arizona offices, or remotely from a home office.. The UE Designer is responsible for all aspects of IVR dialog design and scripting, specification, analysis, and performance optimization. The designer will also provide assistance with live agent script optimization. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in IVR design or the Direct Response Industry.
In this role, you will work with internal teams to understand business objectives and design solutions that drive measurable results for both the client and LiveOps. You?ll be expected to provide creative solutions, clearly articulate your design decisions, manage account team and client expectations, and analyze results for both new launches and A/B testing. You will be an integral part of the entire launch process, serving as the liaison between production, account, operations, and audio teams and driving process improvements. You will also be expected to train, qualify and mentor other resources in VUI design and best practices. The ideal candidate will have superior design, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to our exceptionally fast paced environment.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven success with 3+ years of industry experience in user experience design or with speech recognition applications
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Desire and creativity to continually improve designs and drive business results
Leadership skills to mentor internal teams, communicate best practices, and drive process improvements
Experience working with clients and partners, as well as internal teams including developers, engineers, and sales
Ability to switch between multiple projects and handle a rapidly changing environment while delivering high quality results
Strong ability to communicate and drive results through conversation, design and writing
Professional, team player with strong interpersonal skills
Bachelors or higher degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Linguistics or related field
VXML and speech science/grammar knowledge a plus
Experience in the Direct Response industry is a plus
