Senior Web Application-Tools and Automation Engineer
Strong development skills with languages such as Python and relational databases such as Postgres
Web application development skills: LAMP, PHP, Python, Django, MVC frameworks
Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, HTTP, IRC, DNS, FTP, DHCP
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network problems
Experience with packet capture and processing tools such as wireshark
Ability to quickly design and implement web based portal solutions
Good knowledge of software development processes and tools such as SVN, bugzilla, teamcity
Strong problem solving and debugging skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution
Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus
Excellent organizational skills including ability to manage own time effectively
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
B.S in CS or higher degree in CS or equivalent experience
Must work well in a demanding, fast paced team environment
Responsibilities
This person will develop complex automation frameworks and web portals related to the various products and services provided by FireEye. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the software development life cycle for the applicable projects, including gathering requirements, design, implementation and deployment. This position requires senior software development skills and experience with linux system administration, automation tools and frameworks. Experience with databases, networking, scripting and cloud services are required.
