We are seeking a Sr. Windows System/Network Engineer for a permanent position to oversee the Microsoft Windows, Windows Applications, Linux and Network environment. This position serves as the primary administrator and support resource for Microsoft WindowsDomain/Servers/Clients, Linux, and server applications and any of server hardware and infrastructure devices.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Responsible for administration and maintain the health the Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory and servers environment. Provides administration and supports on OUs, GPOs, AD user and group account management, file shares and permissions. Provides administration and supports on all Windows based applications, including Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, Office Communication 2007/LYNC and etc.
Provides support for client's related issues.
Responsible for all server hardware and maintenance, also includes VMWare ESX/ESXi environment. Responsible for building and configure servers and client stations. Responsible for all server backups, includes Windows servers, applications, database, Linux and VMWare. Backup will be store on NAS devices and tapes for off?site storage.
Responsible of monitoring all servers and network devices availability. Perform daily monitoring of all servers, network devices and review syslog. Provides troubleshooting assistance to all IT operation related issues and available on?call for any infrastructure outage.
Responsible for production order fulfillment tasks, includes building product appliance, staging and shipment to customer.
Provide assistance on al LAN and WAN access devices, i.e. Cisco ASA firewalls, routers, switches, wireless
access point, load balancer, VPN connectivity, SAN/NAS and other network devices.
Work with IT Manager on projects that may be required from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years experience with the following:
Microsoft Active Directory experience and all Windows networking.
Strong background in TCP/IP, IP networking knowledge.
Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, Sharepoint 2007/2010 and OCS/Lync
VMWare ESX/ESXi 4.0, vSphere, vCenter and VMware Server
Windows clients' administration and support.
Windows/Lunix protocol in DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP, SSH, Apache/HTTP, RSYNC and IIS
Working with varies server and client hardware platform, i.e. DELL.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and issues
Experience with the following as a plus:
Varies Linux environment, i.e. CentOS, Redhat
Varies monitoring system.
Network storage devices
Network device experience, i.e. Cisco firewall, routers, switches and wireless access point.
Domain name registration and maintenance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Four year College degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred.
Formal technical training or Microsoft certifications.
