We are continuously looking for talented people interested in working in a fast-paced, cutting edge environment. Our Finance Team is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be involved in a variety of accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger, financial statements, reporting, and reconciliations. In addition, this individual will assist with the quarterly review and yearly audit. Responsibilities also include:
Assist in monthly closing and year-end close process.
Assist with external quarterly review and yearly audit.
Prepare monthly journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations as required to accurately close the monthly fiscal period.
Prepare monthly reconciliations for certain balance sheet accounts, including documentation to support all balances.
Prepare monthly departmental forecast.
Assist in the annual budgets process.
Assist with analyzing accounting procedures and recommending changes.
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and / or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational workshops and seminars; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks.
We?re Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
1-2 years? accounting or finance experience is recommended
Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
Able to meet strict deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
Proficient with MS Word and Excel
Proactive and self-driven with the ability to think creatively within a flexible environment
CPA is a plus but not required
NetSuite or similar accounting system experience is a plus but not required
