Staff Accountant Acurian

Reports to:

Manager, Finance Operations

Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation of monthly financial statements
Perform statement and account analysis, including bank reconciliations
Maintain many post closing Excel schedules that support our financials
Assist in analyzing our project-based revenue stream
Manage our fixed assets
Assist in preparing for various audits
Work on a variety of special projects which occur frequently

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Auditing role
Well organized and detail-oriented team player
Excellent analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Dynamics GP or S software experience a plus
Public accounting/auditing experience preferred
