Description:The Overture Networks Finance Team is seeking an entry level staff accountant with a diverse skill set and ability to work in a team environment that requires flexibility, openness and willingness to work toward team success.
Duties:
?Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
?Responsible for the accounting of fixed assets
?Process payroll and commissions, and responsible for the account reconciliations for payroll and other employee benefits accounts
?Process purchase requisitions, accounts payable (incl. expense reports) and customer billings on an as needed basis
?Assist with financial and tax audits
?Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
?Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
?Experience with subledger functions such as accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, purchasing
?Experience with third party payroll provider a plus
?Detail oriented and organized in work
?Ability to meet assigned deadlines (recurring monthly deadlines)
?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
?Ability to act and operate independently with appropriate direction to accomplish objectives
?Experience with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
?Experience with ERP system environment
