Assist in processing and completing the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process.
Process daily accounts payable via Bill.com system.
Assist in implementation of T&E system and developing new travel policies.
Complete and perform monthly account reconciliations.
Prepare position specific transactions and insure in conformance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Resolve accounting issues, with a specific focus on deferred expenses and consolidations.
Interface with external auditors concerning routine transactions.
Review of system transactions and perform the appropriate accounting corrections or adjustments.
Participate in or perform ad-hoc projects as needed.
Assist with international bookkeeping and audits.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Three to five years of experience with managerial accounting and financial reporting.
Strong technical skills and ability to streamline accounting best practices.
Ability to problem solve and analyze events/transactions.
Ability to multi-task and work overtime as necessary to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills.
Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience in large scale accounting systems a plus (Microsoft Dynamics GP, MAS 90, Peoplesoft).
