Staff Accountant, Revenue Accounting Clarabridge
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Staff Accountant will be responsible for certain financial and accounting functions including maintaining revenue accounting schedules and accounting records, deferred revenue account reconciliations, Assisting with month, quarter, and +year end close, and special projects as assigned (internal review of annual revenue accounting, Netsuite implementation, etc).
? Assist in the financial close process and annual audit
? Assist in the booking of contracts and interfacing with the contracts team as appropriate
? Determine proper handling of financial transactions and ensure transactions are within designated limits
? Analyze financial information and prepare reports to summarize and interpret the company?s current and projected financial position
? Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
? Perform technical accounting research and provide appropriate accounting guidance and treatment.
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
? Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting related work experience
? Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel
? Experience using Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon), Unanet, and/or Salesforce is a plus
? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written/documentation skills)
? Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to work well with a team
? Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
? Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment
