STAFF/LEAD SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER Audience
Job DetailsThe desired candidate will join a dynamic team to lead the development and validation of Audience earSmart solutions. The major responsibilities of the position will include, but not limited to, the following:
Generate detailed ASIC systems test plans and test cases based on product features and specifications.
Continuously monitor bug status and provide expert guidance to the Engineering organization as to the health of each project and areas that need focus.
Perform verification of audio DSP functionality and audio quality.
Develop automation software for complex test frameworks.
Develop application processor Linux device driver test frameworks.
Perform thorough analysis on test results and provide comprehensive test reports.
Lead and mentor junior test engineers.
Review specifications for new products and provide thorough objective feedback to diverse design teams (VLSI, firmware, hardware, algorithm development, etc.)
Participate in architectural design of test frameworks.
Knowledge of software release process and management
Required Skillset and Experience:
Proven track record as a test lead.
10+ years experience in applicable areas including test, embedded systems, ASICs, and DSP software.
Strong systems background. Knowledge of audio signal processing.
Strong test methodology background.
Experience in test automation framework is highly desirable.
Strong in Matlab, Python, and C programming.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical and critical thinking skills, strong troubleshooting capability.
Experience as a test lead in SOC and/or embedded processor design environment.
Highly detail oriented and well organized.
Good team player and leader with strong initiative.
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
