We seek a highly motivated engineer for a senior position in our Casting Manufacturing Engineering group. This group is responsible for developing and implementing the processes and equipment used to produce our advanced, high performance structural castings. These castings are critical to our advanced body structure and are a key component to our superior crash and handling performance. Roles and Responsibilities:
Our new casting Staff Manufacturing Engineer will begin with a group of existing engineers and lead this cohesive team within Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering. He/She will be responsible for developing the processes and requirements to implement new products and/or in-house manufacturing capacity and then leading the team to execute these projects. He/She will also be responsible for providing design for manufacturing feedback to vehicle design engineers in order to realize superior design
efficiency. The deliverable for this position is the handover to day-to-day production of capable and stable manufacturing processes and equipment. The successful candidate should be a skilled and experienced engineer and manager with a successful track record of organizing and growing engineering teams.
