Description
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reliability rules and test methodologies for Peregrine?s deep-submicron UltraCMOS? Silicon-on-Sapphire technology.
Roles & Responsibilities
Define reliability specifications and test procedures for DC and RF operation of UltraCMOS? devices
Work with Product Development and Technology Platform teams to understand and evaluate the intrinsic reliability of circuits and unique requirements of Peregrine?s RF products
Document reliability rules and lifetime models and work with the engineering teams to optimize the product performance
Create appropriate test structures for RF reliability testing, qualification, and monitoring
Evaluate wafer-level reliability data from foundry partners and ensure that they meet Peregrine?s reliability requirements
Participate in technology development and foundry process evaluations
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
MS with minimum of 7 years of experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, PhD preferred
Experience with DC and RF reliability measurement techniques and standards for CMOS devices
Understanding of semiconductor device physics, preferably SOI devices
Familiarity with CMOS manufacturing processes
Good data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with DC/AC/RF device characterization equipment (HP4156 parametric analyzer, LCR meter, oscilloscope, vector network analyzers) and probe-stations
The following traits are highly valued:
Familiarity with Cadence Layout tools, Assura DRC/LVS
Experience with TCAD 2D/3D process and device simulation tools
Experience with the Microsoft Office programs
Education and Experience:
MS with minimum of 7 years experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, PhD preferred
