Staff Software Engineer Adchemy

Adchemy is reinventing digital marketing - come do it with us! Search, Display, Social, Mobile, Landing Page channels all give different information and conflicting methods to run a marketing campaign. None of those channels let marketers work directly in terms of target markets, target customers, and products to sell. That's where Adchemy IntentMap technology comes in. We knit the threads of data from all these channels together and help the marketer understand, analyze, and market to their customers in marketing terms. Digital marketing is expanding rapidly, and the main problem marketers have is how to spend their marketing dollars effectively. That's what Adchemy enables.

This position will play a critical role in developing Adchemy's cross-channel digital marketing platform. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide technical leadership and display a passion for software development.
- Participate in system design and architecture decisions.
- Create code that is simple, extensible, testable and robust.
- Collaborate with other team members to evolve our development processes.
- Organize and lead group discussions.
- Work with customers and product management to identify and define features.

REQUIREMENTS

- High proficiency with Core Java/J2EE and object oriented design
- Experience developing data-centric, web-based applications (Apache, Tomcat, JavaScript, FLEX, AJAX, CSS)
- Experience in Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with MySQL, Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with automated testing - JUnit, FlexUnit, mocking, other test libraries
- Profiency in design patterns and practical applications of them.
- Experience with Agile software development
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years experience or Masters degree with 7+.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

- Digital Marketing Software - Search or Display
- Page Personalization
- Domain modeling
- Large scale event processing systems
- Relational and non-Relational (NoSQL) Databases
- Parallel or distributed systems
- Analytics-driven user interface
- Publisher Advertising API's (Google, Bing, DART, etc)
