Staff/Sr Staff Software Engineer, Detailed Placement Development Tabula

Description

Tabula?s chip architecture puts unique requirements on the design system that customers will use to program our chips. As a part of our software team, you will invent and develop leading-edge placement technology to support our architecture.

The successful candidate?

Will join a dynamic team developing a custom placement tool targeting our proprietary chip architecture
Will invent, design, and develop new algorithms for our placement tool in order to maximize capacity and performance
Will collaborate with both hardware engineers designing our chip, and software engineers throughout the flow


Requirements:

Experience developing novel place and route tools
Understanding of standard place and route algorithms
Exceptional C/C++ software development skills
Experience developing commercial EDA software in a large, complex project
Creativity, fast thinking, strong motivation, good communication skills


Years Experience:

5+ years experience in commercial EDA software development


Education Requirements:

MS or PhD in CS, EE, Math, or equivalent
