MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Staffing services in support of Human Resources functions using agencies Hiring Management software.
Assists managers with preparing job analyses.
Assist in the preparation of vacancy announcements.
Uploads vacancy announcements to USAJOBS.
Assists managers with preparing assessment questions.
Screens applications to ensure applicants meet minimum qualifications for positions in accordance with OPM's Qualifications Standards Handbook or other agency-issued qualification standards.
Assists agencies subject matter experts and/or rating panels.
Prepares certificates of eligible for consideration by the selecting official.
Assists HR staff in answering questions supervisors have regarding the selection process.
Prepares notices to candidates, reflecting the actions taken on their applications.
Prepares delegated examining unit (DEU) and merit promotion case files.
Assists in planning, coordinating and delivering New Employee Orientation "NEO" for new employees.
Assists in developing recruiting plans.
Assists in identifying potential recruitment sources.
Assists in identifying strategies for attracting minority applicant pools.
Provides the agency with a schedule of planned job fairs.
Assists agency in conducting diversity outreach.
Provides recommendations to refine any existing or new recruitment programs or strategies.
Provides guidance to interested parties on all facets of the application process.
Provides advice and assistance to supervisors and managers.
Completes the paperwork to process/on board new hires.
Supports the full range of non-competitive placement under the authorities for expert, consultant, Intergovernmental Personnel Act Assignments, Schedule C political appointments, and fellowships.
Performs quality reviews on closed-out case files.
Bachelor's degree + 3 years' experience or 6 years' experience without a bachelor's degree.
Must have demonstrated experience performing the full range of staffing and recruitment services required to support the Federal hiring process.
Current delegated examining certification or delegated examining contractor training
USA Staffing experience required
Must be a US Citizen.
