State Reporting Analyst Cypress Care

Position will report to the Manager of State Reporting. This individual will provide state reporting support.
Research, correct, and QA data before Production Submissions for all required states.
Using a variety of tools and in accordance with scheduled time-frames, assist in researching and correcting patient and claim data errors that prevent filing.
Responsible for State Reporting Client Implementation tasks. Understand, document and communicate the status during the life of the client implementation and perform the steps to fully SRT implement the client to completion.
Submit Dashboard Acknowledgements for non-automated states, as needed.
Interface with Account Managers, Compliance, and Implementation as needed.
Verify that automated reports are generated and sent various reports to Account Managers and Upper Management according to schedules. Run reports manually as needed.
Conduct biweekly meeting with Sales Executive/Account Manager/CSR to discuss Patient Missing Data reports for reports that have errors.
Update and create new process documents, as needed.
Responsible for understanding, using and modifying Microsoft SQL examples provided in various training avenues as relating to queue management, Implementation and SRT tasks. Demonstrate beginning to intermediate proficiency by building on working knowledge and obtaining self-directed SQL training in order to pass a proficiency test and accelerate growth.
Create Ad Hoc reports for various members of State Reporting team, Account Management, etc.
Meet deadlines as directed by Manager.
Create and maintain measureable goals for the year.
Other tasks as directed by the Company.
Serve as back-up for department Team Lead. These duties may include:
Sending State or NCCI Production Files.
Researching late transaction filing and payment penalties for the Account Manager.
Monitoring the weekly Patient Missing Data Report and communicating with the Account Managers concerning patients with outstanding missing data affecting our ability to file transactions on time.
Ensuring that the daily queue tasks required to meet all production deadlines and data quality standards are being met.
Assist other departments with various regulatory related tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
Beginning to Intermediate Microsoft SQL skills.
Demonstrated Project Management skills.
Experience with 837, 824, and 997 file formats a plus.
Experience with FTP a plus.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent documentation skills.
Effective time management.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
Must be able to occasionally work late or from home as needed for high priority tasks.
Bachelor?s degree and 3 years work history in project management and workers compensation claims, commercial insurance, pharmacy benefit management or managed care industry. Beginning to intermediate Microsoft SQL skills.
