The Receiver/Stocker will oversee high-volume product procurement in a fun and burgeoning office food environment. A collaborative and entrepreneurial role, this dynamic food frontman/woman will take the lead in much of the vendor sourcing, receiving and relationship-building that will set our food program apart as a model for sustainable and holistic office food service.

Cultivate relationships with vendors, farmers, drivers and talent at our Headquarters.
Receive morning deliveries following order guides and distribute to intended floors.
Check in each order based on invoice.
Alert Chefs to shortages and substitutions.
Stock, clean and organize refrigerators, plates/utensils, self serve stations.
Organize and consolidate back-stock.
Rotate and consolidate product based on freshness, place and need.
Rotate beverages and awesome snacks between floors and pantries.
Maintain and clean equipment, shelving and refrigerators.
Communicate damage, safety and maintenance concerns to managers.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Sort and remove recycling and pallets.
Help guests, answer questions, and fulfill customer requests.
Take daily inventory, collaborate with purchasers and kitchen crew.
Be communicative and transparent as we build an exceptional department and team.
Skills and Qualifications:
Receiving experience not necessary - we?re willing to train the right person in this role.
2+ years experience in a commercial kitchen environment with a passion for product, place and relationships.
Flexibility and ingenuity. Willing to work with alternative approaches and overcome challenges and limitations.
Good knowledge of local products, producers and farms.
Familiarity with raw, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, paleo and whole grain foods a plus.
Schedule 6AM -2:30PM
This position will spend 90% of the time standing and lifting, 10% of time at a desk.
Must easily be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Behaves professionally and can be a great addition to an already stellar crew who problem solves in a changing environment.
