Stockroom Attendant Storeroom Solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

The Stockroom Attendant serves as on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom; including receiving, stocking, issuing inventory accuracy, and client interface and computer transaction entry. The main challenge of this position is to receive, stock, issue, and locate inventory utilizing the Company's or the client's computer system. This position is responsible for on-site customer service within the storeroom(s) of a clients operational facility.
Duties include:

receive, unpack, and put away MRO material into inventory
locate and issue stock items requested by clients
deliver materials to various departments
investigate and resolve customers inquiries about parts availability and delivery
use computers to organize and locate parts, and maintain records of inventory
perform cycle count inventories daily
prepare goods for shipment

Required skills and abilities:

must speak, read, and write English
must be proficient in basic math skills
must be proficient in use of personal computers, email software; internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer), and printers
lift 50 lbs unaided, and on a routine basis
experience in cycle counting and inventory control
customer service background helpful
parts room experience a plus
mechanical aptitude.
