Your responsibilities include

• retail hiring, training,
• coordinating marketing events and outreach for the store;
• merchandising, operations, staff development,
• customer service, store maintenance,safety, systems, profit & loss, inventory.

Managing a Pharmaca is like managing no other store. Because of our unique mission and environment, you must be able to work within our values of team, personal accountability, supporting the environment, enhancing profitability, and contributing to the community. You must be a strong communicator, able to multi-task, understand retail operations and be a customer service fanatic in an environment centered around wellness.

What you will need for us to consider you for this position:

• At least 2 years prior retail management experience in the natural foods, chain drug or grocery industry managing a team of at least 10 people, inventory, and P&L experience.OR the ability to prove to us that you have this knowledge and understand our customer base.
• If you're a practitioner -- herbalist, naturopath, esthetician, homeopath, or other,
• You must have a strong passion for creating an extraordinary environment for Team Members, supporting, coaching, counseling, and developing them, along with the ability to carry out company initiatives and direction.
• Intermediate level expertise with Word, Outlook and beginner Excel is a must.
• You must be a whiz managing labor, inventory and merchandising.
• Physical requirements are: lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, stooping, stretching, reaching.
