JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a 3rd shift position requiring the abiltiy to work an 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM schedule on an ongoing basis.
The Stockroom Attendant serves as on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom; including receiving, stocking, issuing inventory accuracy, and client interface and computer transaction entry. The main challenge of this position is to receive, stock, issue, and locate inventory utilizing the Company's or the client's computer system. This position is responsible for on-site customer service within the storeroom(s) of a client?s operational facility and using excellent customer service skills is essential.
Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, and put away MRO material into inventory; check against invoices
Locate and issue stock items requested by clients
Deliver materials to various departments at client site
Investigate and resolve customers? inquiries about parts availability and delivery
Use Company and/?or client inventory system to organize and locate parts, and maintain records of inventory
Perform cycle count inventories daily
Prepare goods for shipment
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS
Solid basic math skills
Proficient in Word and Email, basic understanding of Excel or other databases
Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided, and on a routine basis
Experienced in cycle counting and inventory control
Customer service experience helpful; strong interpersonal skills required.
Parts room experience a plus
Mechanical aptitude desired
Ability to work the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift and occasional overtime
