Strategic Account Director - Cisco Pentaho

The Cisco Strategic Account Director for Cisco will take full operational and revenue responsibility for the Pentaho ? Cisco relationship. Cisco is one of the premier blue chip companies in the Valley, and is a strategic partner to Pentaho. With multiple groups using Pentaho in Big Data and device data analytics, the Account Director will engage multiple Cisco groups, from both the engineering, services and management layers. You will evangelize the Pentaho message and core value to Cisco. You will be responsible for the existing revenue streams we have and ensure the renewals are exercised by Cisco. You will also be responsible to uncovering and delivering additional business opportunities for Pentaho and getting these deals signed and operationalized.
Take full operational and business ownership for the Cisco relationship
Own the revenue number and drive sell through and renewals
Ensure operational projects are being executed on plan
Ensure Pentaho achieves QBR scores of > 90% on all QBR?s
Prospect and deliver 2 additional opportunities for Big Data and Analytics per annum
Excellent communication skills including the ability to deliver exceptional presentations
Highly customer focused and ability to communicate up and down an organization
Open and proactive approach to interpersonal communication
Ability to quickly learn new Pentaho products and technical environments
Ability to apply that learning to the Cisco environment
Creativity and Imagination ? the ability to think out-side the box/li>
Sales driven with the ability to execute after the close will be a defining attribute.
6+ Years of direct and relevant account management experience
Must have worked at Cisco for 5+ years, ideally in the SAVBU, Engineering or Services. Role can have been product , services or sales related
Hands on experience in setting up and running formal QBR?s
An understanding of Big Data and Analytics will be a distinct advantage
Practical working knowledge of the inner workings of Cisco organizations
Minimum Education (or substitute experience)
Business Degree from an accredited university (may substitute an Associate degree plus 4 additional years of experience)
Technical / SE background or OTJ training an advantage
