Strategic Account Director OneSpot
Reports to: VP, Sales
Compensation: A wealth-creating compensation package will include a competitive base salary, incentive plan, and equity participation.
OneSpot marries content marketing with the power, data intelligence, and infrastructure of online advertising. The OneSpot platform automatically turns owned and earned content into native-like advertising and applies proprietary technology for retargeting, real-time bidding and machine learning to drive business outcomes. Leading B2C and B2B brands use OneSpot to transform their owned media investments and earned media wins into high performance marketing assets. Privately funded and based in Austin, Texas, OneSpot is an AlwaysOn Global 250 Winner and a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
The Strategic Account Director position will be the first major sales hire after the VP of Sales. Specific responsibilities include:
Prospecting- Identifying brands that have a need for a better solution for content distribution
Nurturing- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at the brand and agency level
Solution-based selling- Identify the needs for the brand and position OneSpot?s platform to help with those needs
The ideal candidate will have senior-level sales experience (10+ years), preferably in a small rapidly growing company in the 5M ? 50M revenue range. Strong candidates will have proven experience in revenue generation and client-direct selling. Domain experience selling online advertising (digital media) and platform-based solutions is preferred. Experience and familiarity with advertising technologies such as retargeting, ad exchanges, and demand-side platforms (DSPs) is desired. Specific experience with Financial, Technology and CPG categories is a plus.
Individuals with a passion for creating a new market for a disruptive technology will likely mesh well with the culture. Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is required. As this person will be working remotely, they must be a self-starter and comfortable with an at-home work environment.
A bachelor?s degree is preferred, and an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
