MediaMath is currently seeking Strategic Account Director to join the Sales and Account team. This is a sales role focused on growing revenue from existing MediaMath clients. The Strategic Account Director will own and manage quarterly client-specific revenue goals. It will be the Strategic Account Director?s responsibility to constantly seek opportunities to evangelize MediaMath within the client?s organization.

Responsibilities
Understand the MediaMath platform and value proposition including all the components of our technology and services, what they are, how they are used, and how they work together
Learn and follow MediaMath sales processes and tools, including sales training, sales meetings, creating & updating salesforce.com and other internal tools, using JIRA workflow requests, weekly revenue reporting & monthly forecasting, strategic account planning, etc.
Gain in-depth understanding of client?s overall vertical, client?s organizational structure & key decision makers, specific business objectives, marketing programs and operations including current partners, and internal client processes and pain points
Spend up to 4 days per week on site at client premises walking the halls and building close relationships (minimum 1 live meeting per client per week)
Be considered a true domain expert by the client and become a trusted advisor and thought partner, as critical as any member of their internal team
Ensure clients are activated post-sales to the fullest potential
Act as the day-to-day key point of contact with assigned strategic clients
Identify key client needs and areas of opportunity for revenue growth for each assigned client
Develop strategic account plans, translating MediaMath?s platform and capabilities into client-specific solutions
Employ a consultative solutions-sales approach to sell in MediaMath solutions and generate strong client enthusiasm and demand for solutions
Work closely with Operations resources to communicate client needs and ensure solutions are developed that meet those needs
Bring in Sales specialists to address/close big new opportunities, as needed
Schedule regular client trainings sessions and quarterly business reviews to continually push the client to the ?next frontier?
Constantly seek opportunities to evangelize MediaMath within the client
Channel client feedback into Product, Client Solutions, Operations, and other teams as relevant
Desired Skills and Expertise
Deep knowledge of one or a few advertiser verticals, specifically as relates to marketing
2-6 years? experience in account management positions, with a proven track record of growing relationships and revenue
Sales or account management experience for an enterprise technology platform business a strong plus
Knowledge & understanding of the digital media / ad tech space, including key technologies / platforms and industry players (DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, publishers, etc.) a strong plus
Exceptional client leadership and client relationship-building skills, at VP & Director levels, or higher
Strategic thinking capability to translate general client needs into specific and actionable solutions
Operational focus to ensure traction and follow-through
Ability to build close relationships within and across internal functional teams
Highly goal-oriented
Excellent communication skills
BA required
MBA preferred
