Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Account Executive you will position the benefits of Ellie Mae?s products and services to prospective Mortgage Bankers, Community Banks and Credit Unions in the assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities/Objectives:
Establish and build executive contacts/relationships to present products and services to defined markets and prospects to achieved sales quota.
Prospect/qualify targets clients, identify needs and present solutions to executive levels of large mortgage bankers and network within the prospect to uncover additional opportunities.
Responsible for the overall account relationship from lead generation through to hand-off to the implementation team to foster reference ability.
Will sell business and develop relationships while effectively managing available resources.
Drive sales effort to secure appointments and follow-up meetings.
Support client business requirements and proactively offer value-add benefits to develop solid ROI business proposals. Develop strategic prospect plans and territory plan.
Ideal Qualifications, Experience, Education:
Desire and demonstrated success in prospecting & qualifying to identify and present solution to C-level decision makers with at least Five (5) years experience selling mortgage technology solutions to Mortgage Banks, Community & Regional Banks, Credit Unions.
Proven track record of consistent success in sales performance and customer satisfaction. Must be highly motivated and consistently exceed sales quota
Bachelor's Degree required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must be technical aware, self-motivated, a strategic thinker in order to align the clients needs with the overall goals of Ellie Mae, Inc.
Solid organizational skills and project management experience to coordinate resources and deliverables.
Strong PC skills are required, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent presentation skills in person and via Internet with web collaboration tools.
Some travel required to assigned territory. (Approximate 30% of time required in the field)
