Founded in 2004, the Extend Health Medicare Exchange and the company?s licensed and certified benefit advisors have helped hundreds of thousands of Medicare-eligible retirees and their dependents identify and evaluate private Medicare plans that best meet their needs and budgets based on their individual medical and pharmaceutical needs. Extend Health has also helped Fortune 500 companies, unions, and municipalities realize significant savings for healthcare coverage for Medicare-eligible retirees when compared to employer group plans.
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for managing client accounts and is accountable for all Extend Health service delivery from completion of sale by the Vice President through post enrollment. This includes upfront coordination of communications, eligibility files, client requirements, retiree meetings and client feedback during and after the enrollment process. The responsibility continues post enrollment, ensuring client and retiree needs continue to be addressed so clients will serve as ongoing references. In addition, support is provided for the Sales Vice President during various stages of the sales process.
Coordinate activities of various Salt Lake City individuals, including data managers, implementation managers, HRA Manager and other client service personnel
Act as a consultant to clients in regards to communications, HRA administrative rules, eligibility rules, etc. sharing prevalence and our Enterprise-based experiences
Recommend number of and help coordinate retiree meetings
Provide updates to clients on appointments, enrollments, etc during pre-season and enrollment season
Work with Implementation Manager to gather data about the clients and transfer this knowledge to the Pods and BA?s
Coordinate site visit with client prospect
Provide presentations to clients about detail of retiree experience and what we do in Salt Lake to make sure retirees get enrolled in the plans that are correct for them
Ensure clients remain happy with our organization and will serve as references
Work with a book of 6-8 clients per season managing their transitions
Knowledge of Medicare and Individual market is desirable
Strong oral and written skills
Ability to handle many projects and clients at the same time
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Ability to travel
Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude
