The Strategic Account Manager is an executive sales position responsible for external sales within a defined set of Fortune 500 accounts. Candidates will be required to:
- Develop a deep understanding of the assigned account's organizational chart, decision-making process and extended business model
- Develop relationships with key stakeholder and decision-makers
- Identify virtualization implementation status/plans and virtualization management and security pain points
- Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts
- Match the HyTrust Appliance solution to the customer's business needs, challenges, and technical requirements. This includes developing a compelling business impact case to support the sale of the HyTrust Appliance
Experience Required
- 8+ years of a proven track record in a related industry (networking, security and/or virtualization solutions)
with at least 5-7 years of sales to Fortune 500 accounts
- Experience in acquiring enterprise accounts for an emerging technology company
- Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that involve coordinating sales executives,
field SE's, corporate engineers, corporate marketing and executive management
- Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
- General management and start up experience is a plus

Education/Experience
- BA/BS degree or higher
- Minimum of 8 years experience in related software industry with at least 5-7 years in a selling role to
Fortune 500 accounts
