Strategic Account Manager Switchfly
Summary
The Switchfly Strategic Account Manager will be based in San Francisco, CA and will be charged with ownership of the financial success of Switchfly?s most important clients. With an insatiable appetite for data, an ability to juggle and prioritize numerous projects simultaneously and the requisite knowledge of the online travel industry required to develop a client-focused business roadmap, the Strategic Account Manager will be charged with ensuring large travel industry brands prosper on the Switchfly platform. This role requires a broad range of skills including, but not limited to financial analysis, product management, relationship management and e-commerce strategy. To succeed in this role, you must be extremely proactive, technically savvy, able to balance strategy development with roll your sleeves up execution and, most importantly, eager to be judged by the financial success of your clients.
Job Responsibilities
Deep understanding of client?s financial forecasts with the ability to focus on triggers that grow client?s business on Switchfly, increase profitability and reduce overall costs
Develop and execute client specific business roadmap incorporating marketing strategy, product enhancements and supply chain analysis
Constantly interact with client personnel from day to day executors to executive level sponsors
Manage the entire lifecycle of customized functionality requests in coordination with client business roadmap
Create service orders and contract addendums, get necessary customer signatures, and communicate with accounting department
Contribute to the development of a repeatable client success methodology
Constantly evaluate the success of your clients
Job Requirements
Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, very responsible, and passionate about exceeding client expectations
Knowledge of and experience with online travel
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills ? both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to develop basic financial models and product roadmaps
Ability to excel high-stress and fast faced environment
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and how the Internet and websites work
Background in writing requirements documents, SOW, project schedule/milestones
Bachelor?s degree (Master?s preferred)

Demonstrated exceptional customer skills from previous employment
Prior account management and/or project management experience with Fortune 1000 clients
Consulting/professional services experience
