Strategic Account Manager Atrenta

Atrenta is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years experience in direct sales and major account management in within North America with a demonstrable track record of over achievement in small or large companies, ideally both public & private companies, closing deals using value based selling approaches. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of the electronic design environment in semiconductor, telecommunications and/or PC / Server markets and have excellent communication skills, written and oral.

Position Responsibilities

Grow Atrenta business within assigned accounts to achieve/exceed quota
Create a business plan targeted at customers that fit the company's success profile and use value based selling techniques to maximize deal size and speed while providing timely and accurate forecasts to support the growth of the company
Actively communicate with peers about multi-site accounts
Along With Applications Engineers, manage customer issues and ensure evaluation succes
Leverage existing and new contacts in region for business growth
Develop high impact proposal focused on Atrenta strengths
AGGRESSIVELY prospect assigned territory for NEW opportunities

Job Requirements

EE/CS degree preferred
Minimum 5 years successful electronics selling experience, preferably EDA
Expertise within semiconductor and EDA industry, front end knowledge preferable
Team player capable of leading sales campaigns with Applications Engineers, Marketing and Engineering
Personal experience establishing and cultivating executive relationships
Experience leading complex sales strategies (Solution or Value Based Selling preferred)
Comfortable using contact management / sales force automation software
Active network of Engineering Management contacts
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Exemplary work ethic, creativity, and laser focus on over achievement
Strong command of Microsoft Office
