Opportunity
Healthline seeks a Strategic Account Director to manage relationships with Healthline?s large healthcare clients. The exceptional candidate will have strong sales skills, is a fast learner, and has worked with digital consumer health applications and services. He/she will have had success in developing and expanding large strategic relationships and generating new revenue opportunities with clients. Experience working with health plans, large employers, health plan service providers (e.g., care management) or health technology companies preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop account plans for each assigned client, including detailed growth strategy for each line of business of the account.
Execute those account plans by developing proposals and negotiating business terms and closing contracts and other transactions.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at each client, including both operational, day-to-day contacts and senior decision makers.
Develop strong relationships with internal departments within Healthline, including technology, product management, media, content and client services.
Work with VP Strategic Accounts and SVP Business Development to identify opportunity.
As appropriate, identify and help implement marketing and distribution opportunities that help clients leverage Healthline?s advertising network and marketing reach.
Knowledge/Skills & Abilities
At least five (5) years of business development or strategic account management experience, including experience in growing revenue from existing clients, and negotiating upsell and renewal contract terms.. Healthline seeks the following skills and abilities:
Ability to open doors and close deals.
Ability to think strategically, then drive strategy to execution.
Broad understanding of healthcare industry trends and consumer health strategies.
Leadership experience, including significant exposure to senior levels of management.
Experience with a wide variety of contracts, including distribution, licensing, co-marketing, and revenue share arrangements.
Ability to build relationships with clients by anticipating client needs, collaborative problem solving, and good communication with senior decision makers.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure and.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA is a plus.
