Job DescriptionAs a Strategic Field Applications Engineer you will be a key member of the sales and support team for our largest customers. You'll provide technical assistance to prospective customers to help ensure a positive and successful experience using Green Hills Software products. You will support the direct sales force by providing presentations for the company's products and working with the customer to design total solutions for the customers' needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language
Strong presentation and speaking skills, including fluency in English
Able to travel approximately 50% of the time, including travel to international locations (Europe, India, China, Brazil, Singapore, Israel, and others)
Able to work independently with little supervision
Strong organizational skills and follow through on assigned tasks
Helpful Skills/Experience
Embedded experience, including work on INTEGRITY, ThreadX, VxWorks, OSE, pSOS, embedded Linux
Experience writing BSPs and/or device drivers for one of the above Operating Systems
Annual Salary Range
DOE plus commissions and benefits
