This is a critically important role within our company, as the Strategic Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is typically the ?first? sales contact with prospective large enterprise customers. They are responsible for developing highly qualified sales leads for the Directors of Strategic Accounts (DSA?s). Aligned to a specific geography, the ISR will leverage sales and lead generation tools, events, programs, various SFA tools, and partnering with Channel Partners to identify and qualify potential leads for the Directors of Strategic Accounts. They will engage prospects & installed customers over the phone and email to qualify them for in-depth discovery calls, WebEx presentations and cross-sell initiatives which helps build pipeline and achieve revenue goals. This key and integral role directly impacts the ongoing success of Imperva and provides career development and opportunity within the company.
Ability to articular Imperva?s value proposition and handle objections within the Web, Data and File Security space
Highly detail oriented with exceptional communications skills
Prospect and qualify potential Fortune 500 customers, within an assigned geographic territory, leveraging various salesintelligence and lead generation tools.
Develop corporate customer prospects through direct telephone selling and emails.
Work with DSAsto penetrate new accounts& installed customers, qualifyinbound leads and schedule WebEx presentations/ on-site meetings.
Weekly review of leads developed, new leads added and any field sales intelligence; keeps records and generates reports on all phases of activities.
Responsible for responding within 24 hours to any request or intelligence from the DSAs.
Keeps informed on new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers, through successful completion of Imperva Sales Training and self-study.
Stays informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues.
Display self-discipline, accountability and focus to effectively manage a professional and high volume business; strong time management skills.
Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and production levels as defined by sales management.
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience is required
Dynamic, high energy sales professional with 3 years successful experience in a sales or lead development role within aan intense, fast paced, goal oriented environment---ideally in a Database and Web ApplicationSecurity, Enterprise Software or Networking product company.
Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly quota.
Blend of strategic thinking, tactical implementationand highly detailed oriented.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a team oriented environment.
Strong computer, written and interpersonal communications skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com.
Ability to travel when needed to customers or partners (1-2 times /quarter).
