Our Outside Sales team has played a huge part in LivingSocial's incredible growth. As the most outward-facing representative of LivingSocial's brand, our Strategic Marketing Consultant interacts everyday with our great merchant customers, and revolutionizes the way they approach advertising. Aggressively research, develop, and cultivate new business in your territory, and deepen relationships with existing customers
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Qualify prospective clients by phone and close deals in-person
Use consultative sales skills to assess merchant goals, propose a customized LivingSocial solution, and obtain commitment
Focus on new business development primarily in the Entertainment, Live Events and Restaurant verticals
Communicate ongoing contacts and sales activities utilizing Salesforce.com
Partner with internal divisions to create go to market strategies in your market that will drive revenue and results for customers
Three (3+) years of sales experience required
Passion for selling online advertising and direct marketing (local or national digital advertising are a plus)
Sales/business development experience in the Entertainment, Live Events and Restaurant space is a plus
Active experience utilizing CRM systems and working knowledge of other technologies; being technically savvy is a must in order to succeed in this role
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, very high activity sales role
Demonstrates top-notch communication and presentation skills with the ability to reach, engage and sell to all decision-making levels
Superior organizational skills
Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing
Thrives in an autonomous working environment with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines; shows relentless persistence in a competitive marketplace
Has own transportation
Bachelor's degree is a plus
