Senior business development executive who has demonstrated an ability to lead based on experience, knowledge, passion and competence. Works closely with field sales, marketing, product management on detailed partner plans. Drives and sets the strategy of the value proposition development process for prospective clients to include requests for information, proposal and presentation development, as well as developing and maintaining sales content for use in business development activities. Possess outstanding communication skills that are complemented by presence and judgment.
Regularly meet with Director, Senior Director, VP, SVP and C-level leaders at strategic partners as well as joint enterprise and or service provider customers.
Strategic thinker who is able to blend technology, process, people and business strategy to develop a compelling vision for the solutions and services for existing global alliance partners and future accounts. Strong understanding of direct and indirect global sales organizations. Extensive (proven) leadership, communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills specific to SevOne core and adjacent markets.??
Accountable for assigned revenue targets and metrics.
Guide the partner and their field sales to effectively position SevOne solution and provide overall management, review and approval for new business opportunities.
Ensure the partner community understands, applies, and correctly positions the offering.
Negotiate co-marketing, reseller, OEM or appropriate agreement between SevONe and partner?
Extensive coordination between partners, SevOne and customer (all stakeholders) to ensure cost proposals, cost models, rate structures and profit margins are correct.
Builds and maintains relationships with various partner organizations to ensure market alignment and increased awareness of SevOne and joint capabilities with partner?s offering to build pipeline.?
Focus on driving revenue for SevOne either through direct means (reseller or OEM) or influence revenue (co-marketing)
Collaborate with partner business units, field sales teams across geographies and SevOne sales teams for proper go to market alignment including specific account and solution mapping.
Participate in lead qualification process by working with SevOne marketing, the partner and SevOne sales teams and track progress throughout the process?.
Ensure that the Global Alliance team is operational sound in support of sales efforts with our ecosystem and provide input on enhancing existing processes or implementing new ones.
Participate in deal reviews with SevOne sales leadership and partner sales leads
Participate in and or lead regular strategic client presentations for recruiting and increased SevOne awareness to existing partners
Provide day to day account management for select strategic accounts Develop a strategy for expanding SevOne partner ecosystem to broaden our market capabilities and compliment existing
Collaborate with SevOne product management to align with roadmap
Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting in Salesforce.com
Conduct named account QBRs, Divisional for Corporate/Business Development VP
Thoroughly understand and articulate SevOne strategy, product capabilities, roadmap plans and business solutions to clients.
Continuously improve knowledge of SevOne capabilities and those of our partners, and competitors.
Study customer requirements; identify trends, strategic market opportunities and provide feedback on future opportunities to SevOne leadership.
Set business development strategy and overall performance and execution of expanding SevOne market share through increasing revenue within SevOne ecosystem of strategic partners.
Ability to lead, motivate and work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic workgroup?.
Ability to prioritize opportunities, pursuits and focus on those with highest return
Ability to provide business planning to justify investment and return for SevOne and Corporate Development
Proven capability around matrix management and cross-functional team leadership skills?
Ability to build effective presentations and BD level sales materials
?Ability to influence others to achieve results
Strong communication skills at the senior executive level
?Strong understanding of market, trends, competition and customer requirements
Understanding of SevOne?s solutions and their value added to the partner and joint customers?
Intensive travel may be required (up to 40%) ?
