We are looking for a talented Strategic Partner/OEM Marketing Manager to join our Teradici Channel Marketing team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for building rapport and relationships with a defined set of strategic partners, onboarding them with sales and marketing enablement programs as well as the creation of integrated messaging, end user campaigns, and marketing plays that accomplish Teradici and partner sales goals.
Primary responsibilities are to work closely with business development, product management, sales, marketing, and partner counterparts to drive and execute the marketing engagement and strategy with our strategic technology partners and OEMs. This role is pivotal in formulating and communicating reference sales and marketing programs with our partners. This person will need to thoroughly understand the partner's organization and business needs including:
Key stakeholders and decision makers and development of short-term and long-term joint go-to-market plans with scheduled launch-related milestones.
Marketplace trends and implications for our partners and their relationship with Teradici.
How the partner(s) train and share content internally and which groups/people need to know what about Teradici.
Based on this knowledge this person will drive partner enablement activities to improve sales engagement and drive strategic marketing initiatives and activities to facilitate lead generation. This person will need to be able to build partner relationships and become a trusted advisor, deliver programs on schedule, creatively address complex issues as they arise, manage expenses against budgets, measure program effectiveness, and discover ways to improve results over time. In addition,
Acts as a thought leader for marketing, representing the ?voice of the partner? to Teradici and the ?voice of Teradici? to the partner.
Works collaboratively with Channel Sales Managers and Marketing counterparts to deliver effective marketing programs, particularly with DMR partners.
Seeks insight into customer needs to understand the dynamics that drive current and future opportunities for partners.
Delivers recognizable value add in cross-functional team environments.
Actively seeks information on trends that impact Teradici?s current and future business prospects.
Experienced in the understanding of alliances and reseller business models and marketing disciplines
Previous success in co-marketing and/or partner management with industry leading companies
Requires Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree and 8-10 years of related experience
Demonstrates working knowledge of the partner and their business models. Responsible for partner marketing interface and ongoing marketing relationship
Above average knowledge of networking, SaaS, virtualization, or other similar technology
Navigate complex partner organizations and influence senior management, cross-functional teams
Provides counsel to partner?s marketing manager on marketing strategy based on business goals. Makes recommendations on positioning, messaging, tactics, implementation approach.
Knowledge of a variety of marketing functions
Ability to develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns
Exercise excellent judgment to select methods and evaluate criteria to achieve desired results
Quickly grasp and communicate Teradici and partner objectives and build them into campaigns
Expertly manage internal/external vendors and track budgets
Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
Team player, willing to go the extra mile when needed Self-motivated, resourceful, takes initiative
Consistent follow-through on projects, very organized, detail oriented and proven ability to multi-task
