Are you passionate about technology, business strategy, closing deals and growing strategic partnerships? StumbleUpon is looking for a Strategic Partnerships professional to play a critical role in working with our most important partners to take our service from 25M+ users to the next level. The Strategic Partnerships team at StumbleUpon is responsible for identifying, negotiating and managing partnership opportunities with a primary focus on growing our userbase and enhancing our user experience (and that of our partners). This position is based in our headquarters in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Identify, creatively structure and negotiate complex strategic partnerships with a wide array of partners, ranging from websites to device OEMs to mobile carriers, and more
Manage and grow key existing partnerships
Work with StumbleUpon product, engineering and business teams to drive partnerships to execution
Represent StumbleUpon in senior-level partner meetings and at industry events
Requirements
2+ years of business development experience at technology companies (experience at a consumer web company strongly preferred)
Experience working with large consumer Internet companies (e.g. Google, Facebook, Yahoo!) preferred
BA/BS degree from a top university
Extensive knowledge of the consumer web space (deep familiarity with StumbleUpon a plus)
Track record of successfully negotiating impactful partnerships
Ability to drive recommendations and build consensus with multiple key internal and external stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills - you will be cultivating deep relationships with our top partners
Data driven but creative thinker

Ability to thrive under minimal structure and supervision
