Position: Strategic Sales Manager
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager reports to the VP of Sales and will work in a team environment responsible for the execution of sales strategies in targeted industries. This person will do so by identifying sales opportunities, promoting the Company?s value proposition and cultivating relationships with prospects and strategic partners.
Job Responsibilities:
? Identify potential deals and opportunities in assigned industries
? Identify prospects, nurture relationships, and secure new customers to further expand company growth
? Manage and retain key accounts and strategic partnerships and find new ways to generate business from existing sales accounts
? Ensure that the preparation of proposals and contracts accurately and simultaneously meets both the customer needs and the company objectives
? Establish and maintain sales operation plan and forecasts for assigned industries
? Participate in formulating sales and marketing strategies and recommend set of targets and priorities

Position Requirements:
? B.S. in Engineering (preferred), business or related field
? 5+ years of experience in technical sales, or related field
? Demonstrated success in developing & achieving or exceeding targets
? 5+ years selling in the steel, cement, power industries;
AND/OR
5+ years of selling equipment or technology in 1 or more of the following industrial processes:
- Heat recovery systems
- Gas turbine or reciprocating gas engine based power generation
- Fuel-fired industrial processing kilns/furnaces/ovens/boilers
- Process or Power piping systems
- Other complex engineered products that produce power or work involving heat transfer
? Possesses strong presentation and negotiation skills
? Able to travel to meet customers and attend trade shows
? Capable of handling multiple tasks and working independently
