Job Duties:- Establish the technical requirements for the video delivery system
- Find and coordinate with partner companies that have components needed to execute the video delivery system
- Find, manage, and lead the programming team to develop the video delivery system
- Coordinate on requirements with the content acquisition team
- Program directly key systems of the video delivery system
Job Requirements:
- 5-8 years programming experience with online video delivery
- Familiarity with major video delivery technologies
- HDS/HLS/RTMP/RTP
- DRM experience a plus
- Development of cutting-edge solutions for video delivery - pushing the limits of existing delivery mechanisms
- Experience with video server/edge technology
- Experience working with hardware video encoders
- Academic research in video delivery a huge plus
- Experience with cloud encoding/delivery a plus
- Experience with custom video codecs a plus
