This position will directly manage the activities of the student services staff and is responsible for designing and implementing programs that foster student retention and success. This position is one of the critical ?first lines of defense? in executing 2U?s expected white glove service level for its students and graduates.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This position will supervise a top-notch team of service representatives who are expected to facilitate every need of enrolled students. Students will call this team for any need they have while enrolled, whether it be academic, procedural or technical in nature.
Corresponds with university department heads and internal cross-functional teams.
Oversee personnel and day-to-day operations in student services.
Responsible for attaining management set student retention goals.
Ensure consistent operation of department in accordance with all university policies.
Develop and implement student retention programs.
In collaboration with marketing, create training and student support materials.
Things That Should Be in Your Background
MSW required with at least 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Strong customer service background and management experience.
Counseling background desirable.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
