Paid part-time internship opportunities at Domo are designed for MBA, MACC, MPA, Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Operations, Marketing or Information Systems students. These internship positions are intended to provide students with the opportunity to contribute to our performance management research efforts. This Internship is intended for students located in Utah. No previous experience required.
Interns will develop deep understanding of multiple industries and disciplines and how to measure business performance in those areas as they research and document applicable artifacts. The ability to apply research techniques to solving categorization and classification problems is key. In addition, attention to details and both an enjoyment of and a proficiency in technical writing are essential.
This paid internship offers $20/hour with flexible hours. Must have schedule availability of at least 20 or more hours weekly during business hours of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Qualifications & Skills:
? Basic PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Research skills with basic understanding of business terminology and ability to read, interpret, analyze, and apply information from professional publications such as Gartner, Forrester research reports.
? Research skills with the ability to rapidly locate and digest relevant internet content
Skill in:
? Organization, planning and time management
? Exercising judgment and self-direction to independently complete projects
? Business and communication skills sufficient to work in a professional environment
Ability to:
? Learn and document new procedures independently and accurately.
? Learn new software packages and systems thoroughly and efficiently.
? Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
? Attention to Detail.
? Search to locate relevant content quickly
? Read, interpret, analyze and apply information from professional publications.
? Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
? Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Education Requirements:
? Undergrad with Junior or Senior standing. MBA candidates preferred.
? Major in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science
? Strong Academic performance with at least 3.2 GPA or above
