Duties:The Legal Intern will work with the two person corporate legal team and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters for a growing private company. Responsibilities may include assessing and researching legal issues particular to the Company?s relationships and circumstances, maintaining and updating the Company?s electronic data room, contract review and drafting, and work on Company policies and procedures. The efforts will help drive the legal function forward and provide a resource to assist with Company compliance efforts.
?Conduct legal analysis of issues impacting the Company
?Complete legal research and writing
?Assist with administration of Company tools, e.g., data room
?Work on Company policies and procedures
?Assist with contract review and drafting
Qualifications:?Law student, preferably completed two years of law school
?Minimum 3.0 GPA
?Able to work 40 hours per week
?Proficient in Microsoft Office
?Desire to learn in a fast paced environment
?Strong organizational skills
?Exceptional follow-through and ability to juggle multiple projects
?Interactive listening required
?Excellent verbal and written communication
?Team-oriented with demonstrated self-motivation
