The Web Copywriter uses ecommerce copywriting experience to create and deliver online content for all of Allconnect?s online properties and digital media campaigns. This position will be responsible for guiding the voice and accuracy of marketing copy, and elevating the Allconnect brand through well-written marketing materials. As a key member of the Allconnect Web marketing team, the ideal candidate will write compelling online content and assist in developing and managing internal SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns. This position reports to the Content Marketing Manager and interacts directly with the other members of the Marketing and eCommerce team to achieve an increase of our online presence and world-class consumer experiences.
Duties:?Create and maintain search engine friendly online content including but not limited to landing pages, microsites; online ad copy; Allconnect blog posts; industry articles; and social media updates (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus)
?Work closely with Content Marketing Manager to create and maintain the web editorial calendar.
?Incorporate search engine keyword research in all forms of online content
?The ideal copywriting candidate, will bring both experience and passion to work in developing content and copywriting for effective sales and marketing material that will clearly communicate our company's products and services.
?Develop relationships with content owners and subject-matter experts, internal and external, to identify, gather, organize, and understand the information and messaging
?Ensure all messaging is on target and consistent with Allconnect objectives and vision
?Proactively recommend and implement appropriate site-wide copy improvements
?Plan projects and arrange schedule to meet or exceed all deadlines within budget
?Ensure all work/copy/content is top quality, proofread and error-free
Qualifications:?Rising junior or senior in college, pursuing a Bachelor?s in Marketing Communications, or other relevant fields that include an emphasis on marketing/advertising, business communication, English, creative writing or journalism.
?Minimum 3.0 GPA
?Able to work 40 hours per week
?Proficient in Microsoft Office
?Desire to learn in a fast paced environment
?Strong organizational skills
?Exceptional follow-through and ability to juggle multiple projects
?Interactive listening required
?Excellent verbal and written communication
?Team-oriented with demonstrated self-motivation
?Familiarization with SEO, SEM, Social Media and ecommerce merchandising
?Detail oriented with excellent research, organizing, writing, editing, and proofing skills (strong portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of both print and digital media.)
?Strong written and verbal communication skills
?Team player capable of capturing unwritten content from internal and external sources
?Ability to write concise brand copy that meets brand objectives is required
?Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and quality expectations
?Ability to efficiently and effectively self-direct and prioritize work
?Basic HTML coding knowledge, including cascading style sheets (CSS) is preferred
?Proficiency in at least one web editing, content management or online publishing tool
