This summer, we will host interns across the business to gain experience in our fast-paced luxury ecommerce organization for 10 weeks, from June 9, 2014 through August 15, 2014. Gilt is looking for a creative, energetic, self-motivated Integrated Marketing Intern. S/He will work on longer-term integrated marketing projects that involve both data analysis and marketing strategy development, while also aiding in the day-to-day execution of marketing tactics for all Gilt Stores divisions (Women?s, Men?s, Home & Kids). This individual should have excellent communication skills, an affinity for marketing analytics and the ability to take initiative and multitask.
Develop an understanding of the most important customer demand metrics for the merchandising and integrated marketing teams to review on a regular basis. Build a functional dashboard in Excel that can be easily updated to provide insights to merchants and marketers across all divisions
Build an understanding of marketing strategies for primary competitors across all divisions; develop an actionable process for gathering and communicating competitive insights on an ongoing basis
Synthesize internal Gilt data and secondary research to develop recommendations for new marketing and merchandising tactics; provide a mid-term report on recommendations to the Integrated Marketing team and execute select tactics during the second half of the internship
Work cross-functionally with Acquisition, CRM, Analytics, Creative and Editorial teams to execute and recap integrated marketing events across the Stores divisions (Women?s, Men?s, Home & Kids)
Bachelor?s degree candidate eligible for academic credit
Strong analytical skills; experience working with large datasets and/or web analytics a plus
Self-motivated, with a strong interest in Marketing and eCommerce
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
