Summer Internship: Men's Buying Intern (Academic Credit Only) Gilt Groupe
Gilt Groupe is looking for excited, passionate and hard-working interns for our Summer Intern Program! We will be bringing in a group of students across all parts of the business to gain experience in our fast-paced luxury e-commerce organization to join our fantastic teams for 10 weeks. To be considered, you must provide a resume and a cover letter answering the question 'Why Gilt?' and outlining your areas of interest. You must also be able to participate for the entirety of the program and provide a letter of credit for your college or university. This is an unpaid, for academic credit only internship.Giilt MAN seeks an intern to join the team this summer on the buying team. Daily tasks and responsibilities of the Men's Buying Intern will include:
? Participate in weekly team meetings, Calendar, Sales Ops, Calendar, and OTB meetings
? Assist MA?s with market preparation and analysis for buying appointments
? Attend market appointments - see the buy process from beginning to end
? Assist MA?s in creating/signing off on merchandising initial, repeat, and theme sales
? Assist MA?s in putting together buy sheets from market
There is also ample opportunity for special projects with this internship that will provide the foundations of merchandising.
Qualifications

3.0 GPA or above
Able to receive school credit
Analytical experience with retail math a plus
